Hanne Dahlberg
I believe that therapy is not just about removing symptoms, but about accommodating what is difficult. In this way, there can also be more room for the joy of life's ups and downs. Not everyone desires in-depth therapy, but rather tools to cope with everyday life, severe stress, or acute crises. For this, I can offer help and support in cognitive behavioral therapy, metacognitive therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Background and education
I am a trained psychologist from the University of Tromsø. I have a foundational interest in psychodynamic therapy and further education in trauma therapy. This makes me particularly focused on the experiences you bring with you as a person, how these may have affected your relationships with others, and the relationship you have with yourself.
In the therapy room
Therapy starts with a safe relationship, and I will always do my utmost to ensure that you feel safe and cared for during our conversations. I do this by asking about your expectations, what is important to you, what might be challenging for you in such a setting, and how we can work together to overcome any obstacles in the process. It's perfectly okay not to know everything from the start, and you don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand.
Many people come to therapy afraid of saying something wrong or not knowing how to explain themselves. It's also natural to fear that their problem will be seen as "too small" or that it's wrong to want just one or two sessions to talk about a challenge. I want you to feel completely at ease when meeting with me. Together, we will find the path and what is important for you.
